Tuition for the 2013/2014 school year is:
$12,350 Grades 1 to 8 (sibling discounts for multiple children in the grades)
$10,765 Junior/Senior Kindergarten - 5 full day (8:30-3:30)
$ 6,995 Junior/Senior Kindergarten - 5 morning
$ 4,270 Junior Kindergarten - 3 morning
$ 2,795 Junior Kindergarten - 2 morning
Parent & Child (one morning/week, choice of Fall, Winter or Spring sessions - please call school for session rates)
Upon acceptance, an invoice for 10% of the tuition and an Enrollment Contract are submitted. The balance of tuition is to be paid in full, semi-annually or monthly payments. Families entering the school after September will be charged a prorated tuition. Payment (including post-dated cheques) is due with the Enrollment Contract to hold a place in the class.
Sibling Discount
Parents pay full tuition for the initial child. Discounts grow per sibling enrolled in the grades:
2nd Child in the Grades: $9,480
3rd Child in the Grades: $7,390
4th Child in the Grades: $5,310
Tuition Assistance
Halton Waldorf School has always strived to be available to all who truly wish a Waldorf education for their children. We have maintained tuition fees at the lower end of the independent school spectrum, however, there are families for whom the cost remains prohibitive and they may apply for Tuition Assistance. Each year the school budgets an amount towards assisting those families who cannot afford the full tuition fees. These families are asked to support the school in other ways resulting in a net benefit to the School.
